学科基本情况
北京印刷学院自上世纪80年代末开设美术专业教育以来，经过二十多年的发展，在教学、科研上取得了丰硕的成果，在已有设计艺术学硕士点及绘画、动画、摄影等本科专业的基础上，于2011年获得一级学科硕士学位授权资格。
本学科现有四个研究方向：1、中西绘画艺术研究；2、动漫艺术研究；3、影像艺术研究；4、美术史论研究；
四个研究中心：1、数字媒体艺术研究中心（北京市重点实验室）；2、数字艺术教学实践中心（北京市实验教学示范中心）；3、动漫艺术研究中心（校级重点实验室）；4、艺术研究中心，并以中国印刷博物馆、国家新媒体产业基地为支撑。
学科特色
本学科将“美术与数字技术相结合”、“美术与印刷文化相结合”、“美术与文化创意产业相结合”，以北京历史文化遗产为资源，以首都文化创意产业为平台，形成如下特色：
1、通过国画、油画、版画、插图艺术形式，在现实主义绘画创作基础上，兼顾写实与抽象，强调材料、印刷技术、数字技术的综合性应用，致力于绘画艺术语言与形式的独立性、多样性和现代性的本体性研究；
2、追求动漫的民族性，从内容到形式与中国文化紧密结合，突出动漫艺术与产业紧密相连的实用性，形成一种综合的动漫文化理念；
3、立足商业摄影与高品摄影制作，针对高品质摄影与复制进行拓展式研究，注重艺术与商业消费文化及数字媒体传播的交融；
4、以地域、民族美术与文化为指向，通过对文、图、像的分析和比较，强化地域美术与文化研究、民族美术与文化研究、传统美术与设计文化研究三大内容。
学科优势
本学科团队成员共计28人，其中教授6人，副教授15人，享受国务院特殊津贴1人，国家“五个一工程奖”获得者1人，国家新闻出版行业领军人才1人，多人担任中国美协艺委会委员、中国动画协会理事、中国民俗摄影协会副会长、中国影协理事等，并创作出了一批有影响的成果，如国画获“孙中山与华侨国际美术巡回展”金奖，版画获“第十一届全国版画展”金奖，52集科幻动画片《神脑聪仔》获中宣部“五个一工程奖”，摄影作品获“第十六届澳门国际摄影展”金奖，理论专著《北京美术史》获“北京市第十一届哲学社会科学优秀成果奖”，教学成果曾获北京市教学成果二等奖等。近三年出版专著10部，发表论文60篇（核心和检索），作品参加全国美术展览126件。完成各类科研项目47项，经费共计506.1万元。现在校硕士生41人，就业率稳步提高。
Fine Arts
Instruction of the Fine Arts
Since the establishment of the Education of Fine Arts in the end of 1980’s, with 20 years’ development, we have made fruitful achievements in both of teaching and academic researching. Based on the graduate programs of Art and Design and the undergraduate programs of Painting, Animation and Photography, we were approved to establish our “Primary Master Program” in 2011. Now we have four directions for undergraduate which are Chinese and Western Painting Research, Animation Research, Photography Art Research and Art History. As well as, we have four academic research centers which are Digital Media Art Research Center (key Laboratory of Beijing), Digital Art Education and Practice Center (representative center of experimental education of Beijing), Animation Art Research Center (key laboratory of BIGC) and Art Research Center. All of the research centers are supported by the National New Media Industry Base and China Museum of Printing.
Highlights of Fine Arts
Combining “fine arts and digital technology”, “fine arts and printing culture” and “fine arts and cultural innovative industry”, and supported by the historical heritage of Beijing and the cultural innovative industry, the fine art major built its own highlights which include four aspects:
1, Based on the traditional subjects such as Chinese Painting, Oil Painting, Print and Illustration, via the realistic and abstract creative work, Fine Arts places great emphasis on the practice of using material, printing techniques and digital techniques, and focus on the research of art’s independency, diversity and modernity.
2, Fine Arts combines the national characteristics with animation and builds the strong relationship between the animation art research and animation industry. Through these works, Fine Arts established a comprehensive ideology of animation culture.
3, Based on the research of commercial photography and high-quality photograph creation, Fine Arts focus on doing the integration between the digital art communication and commercial culture.
4, Aim at studying local, national art and culture, Fine Arts strengthens the research of the local art and culture, national art and culture, traditional art and the culture of design by using the method of comparing and analyzing the theories, images and videos.
The Advantages of Fine Arts
The faculty of Fine Arts has 28 members which includes 6 professors, 15 associate professors. One teacher takes the “Special Allowance of the State Council”. One won the “Five-one Project”. One is “the Leader of National Press and Publishing Industry”. And many teachers are the members in Chinese Artist Association, Chinese Animation Association, Chinese Photography Association and Chinese Film Association. In the past years, we have made a great amount of achievements which include the Golden Price of “Sun Yet-sen and Overseas Chinese International Fine Arts Exhibition”, the award of “Five-One Project” for 52-episode science fiction animated TV series “Congzai, the Super Brain”, Golden price of 16th Macao International Photography Exhibition, the “excellent work of 11th philosophy and social science” for “Art History of Beijing”, the second place of “Teaching Competition of Beijing”, etc. We also published 10 professional books and 60 professional papers, exhibited 126 art works, finished 47 academic research projects with earning a funding of 5,061,000 yuan. The graduate students are more than 41 and the employment rate climbs up yearly.
